Co-founder and co-owner of Foley Station, John Ecklund epitomizes the definition of a "silent partner." John is passionate about good food and sharing these experiences with everyone through Foley Station and the expert hand of partner Merlyn Baker.
John has been trekking the world, experiencing international cuisine first hand. From the birthplace of Mojitos at the Hotel Florida in Havana Viejo,
Cuba, to famous Parrilla and Chimichuries sauces of the Estancia Benetton in
Patagonia, Argentina.
For the last six years John can be found in Mendoza, Argentina, living on his vineyard, trying to grow "the best damn Malbec grapes in Valle De Uco."
Always eager to share a glass of 'vino' with other wayward 'extranjeros'... he can be reached at jcecklund@gmail.com
